We think sustainability is very important. You can help us with this by paying attention to the points below:

• Turn on the heating only in the rooms where you are present.
• When you leave the accommodation, turn the heating down a few degrees.
• Make sure you turn off the lights when you leave the house.
• Close as many windows and doors as possible to maintain heat in the house.

This is what Summio Parc Heihaas does itself:

• All bungalows have water-saving taps.
• In the bungalow, it is possible to separate & separate residual and plastic waste.
• After several hours of no movement in the bungalow, the heating goes to automatic lower.

Green-Key certificate

Green Key is the largest sustainability mark for the tourism and leisure industry in the Netherlands.

This means that we consciously make an extra commitment to nature and the environment and corporate social responsibility.

Waste streams

At Summio Parc Heihaas, it is possible to separate waste. Scattered around the park are three points where waste can be deposited. We distinguish between the following waste streams:

• Residual waste > Packaging with silver foil such as chips bags, pizza boxes & blister packs.
• Plastic waste > Plastic bottles and packaging, cans and metal packaging & drink cartons.
• Paper > Newspapers & magazines, clean paper & cardboard boxes.
• Glass > Packaging glass, wine bottles & glass jars (e.g. vegetable jars)
